Road tested & verified complaint, remotely aired up suspension & found crack in right-front strut bellows. Inspected other strut / air springs, found left-front air spring strut leaking dampening fluid onto strut bellows & recommend replacing both front struts. Advised customer & authorized repair of right-front strut only on 11/16/2022 @ 10:40 AM for $ 1,265 to include diagnose. Removed front sway bar assembly, removed upper strut assembly & air line from vehicle body. Removed front axle from steering knuckle & removed lower control arm from steering knuckle & strut mount. Removed strut assembly & installed replacement. Reassembled & aired up system. Checked for leaks, vehicle did not drop after sitting undisturbed.
Front tires set to 35 PSI, rear tires set to 38 PSI.

Verified complaint, connected vehicle to MB Xentry & performed diagnostic. found the following CURRENT fault code: P0170- Fuel trim lean, bank 1 P0174- Fuel trim lean, bank 2 P0521- Air flaps bank 1 malfunction Additionally, found the following PENDING fault code: P0128- coolant temperature is above specified temperature Performed electrical test, found intake flap not closing & causing lean fault codes to increase & vehicle operating temperature to rise higher than allowable. Called, advised customer & authorized all repairs on 11/4/2022 @ 11:47 AM for no more than $ 2,900 total. Removed engine cover to remove fuel injectors, spark plug coil wires, & ME computer. Disassembled intake manifold & cleaned adjoining surfaces. Removed thermostat as part of & included with repair, replaced o-rings, breather hoses, intake seals also as part of & included with repair. Reassembled, cleared check engine light & reset vehicle adaptations. Performed road test & connected vehicle to MB Xentry. No pending & no stored fault codes, vehicle operating as designed.

Verified complaint, pressure tested cooling system & found small leak coming from turbocharger inlet & outlet lines. Called, advised customer & authorized repair on 6/20/2022 @ 2:04 PM for $ 520 total. Removed lower gravel shield, removed bolt holding inlet & outlet cooling lines to turbocharger. Replaced o-rings & reassembled. Cleaned off residual coolant, corrected coolant level & performed coolant bleeding procedure. Pressurized coolant system, held 20 PSI for 1 hour, no drop in pressure. Vehicle operating as designed.
Front tires set to 32 PSI, rear tires set to 34 PSI.
Reviewed previous service dated 3/7/2022, customer had same complaint but no check engine light was on during that service. No check engine light on during this service. Advised customer to perform diagnose & customer declined diagnostic service.

Verified complaint, tested battery, starting, & charging system, found the following: + Battery rated 850 EN, tested 400 EN, 12.58 volts (recharge & retest) + Starter consumed 10.9 volts (pass) + Alternator ouput 12.58 volts (low, check belt & alternator) Performed function test, found alternator output increases only when vehicle RPM reaches above 3,000. Alternator output does not keep up with vehicle demands at idle. Advised customer & authorized repair. Disconnected battery & recharged. Released belt tension to remove drive belt. Removed electrical connectors to alternator & removed alternator assembly. Replaced alternator with brand new unit. Reassembled & road tested. Verified alternator output 14.2 volts (OK, pass). Battery tested good. Vehicle operating as designed.
